Mr McBat Takes Out The South Grafton Cup Ridden Perfectly By Jason Taylor

The South Grafton Cup was run and won by the stable prepared Mr Macbat, with the Wyong galloper taking out the event the the delight of trainer Damien Lane.

As the runners left the stalls in the South Grafton Cup over 1610m it was Nerum Road sitting behind Malleable with Cheval Le Vent next in advance of Baroque Girl, Mr McBat was back worse than midfield with some work to do as Jason Taylor ambled off the rail, to give Mr McBat more galloping room.

Midway down the straight the run came Mr McBat, with the runner accelerating to the front to land the Grafton Cup spoils for connections after a scintillating run under the guidance of Jason Taylor to defeat Sofin with Darcy Affair the next runner in.
