The Damien Lane stable will supply two runners to the Hawkesbury race club meeting on a damp Thursday August 4, the weather is currently showery racing on a heavy eight the rail position is +5 m from the 1300 meter to the winning post and true the remainder.

Able Chap is a five-year-old gelding having start number 17 with seven placings earning prize-money if $27,000, last time out he competed at Gosford on July 21 finishing third of seven on a heavy 10 over a mile with Tommy Berry the pilot arriving 5.3 lengths behind the winner in a time of 1:44.90.

The second stable runner Moysation is currently a fourth emergency, & with no current scratchings posted means a start in the McDonnell Air-conditioning maiden plate over 1300 m is unlikely.
