Two Runners For The Stable On Friday At Port Macquarie

Feb 13, 2014

At this stage Damien Lane racing will head to the Port Macquarie meeting on the 14th of February (Friday) with two stable representatives at the meeting.
First to be saddled up will be in race two in the maiden plate over 1500m with Jessie's Surprise heading out with Matthew Bennett to ride jumping from barrier 6.
The three year old Strategic Filly is having her third start for the stable, with the former Victorian disappointing in her last two outings.
Damien has removed the blinkers, and added winkers for this event and hopefully an improvement will arise from the change.

The second runner will be Junicio in race five ridden by Matthew Bennett jumping from barrier 5.
Junicio finished midfield last time out at Taree, before running 10th of 12 at Port, and prior to that run saluting the judge in a confident win at Port to crack her maiden win, ridden by Robert Thompson
Junicio has a liking for Port and it is hoped the 1800m will be to her liking.
Best of luck to all connections with their runners at Port.
