Watta General is a three-year-old Bay gelding, & is prepared for this outing with two trials under the belt the first of which at Wyong on February 16 finishing second of 7 over 800 m with Roy L McCabe aboard arriving 1.8 lengths behind the heat winner in a time of 50.83, and was last seen in a barrier trial at Cessnock on March 9 finishing first of 7 over 900 m with Roy L McCabe aboard landing the heat with a field of seven contesting in a time of 52.96 with last 600m in 34.50.
