Damien Lane will supply three runners to the Cessnock wine country race club meeting on Tuesday, June 16 with the rail out 3 m from the 300m to 900m, the track confition is currently a soft six the weather is overcast.

Bench Star is a six year old Brown gelding having start number 51 with six wins and 12 placings earning prize-money in excess of $110,000, last time he raced he ran at Parkes on May 17 finishing third of 13 over 1400 in a BM 55 with Roy L McCabe the pilot arriving 2.6 lengths behind the winner in a time of 1:22.41.

The final stable runner will see Spinning Gold come out in the Cessnock Cup over 1358 m with Greg Ryan aboard jumping from barrier eight in a field of 10.

Spinning Gold is a four-year-old gelding having start number 18 with three wins and eight placings earning prize-money in excess of $53,000 recent efforts have been at Parkes on May 17 finishing seven of 9 over 1600 m in the Parkes Cup with Greg Ryan aboard travelling in a forward position until the concluding stages when they landed 5.5 lenghs behind the winner (Heysen) in a time of 1:36.26.
