Port Macquarie racing club will host 2, Damien Lane runners on Friday, February 3 with fine conditions forecast racing over an eight-event program.

The first of the stable runners will enter in race two with Eyota, to compete in a maiden showcase handicap over 1100 m with Matthew Bennett aboard jumping from barrier eight.

The next stable runner will see Bench Star compete in a BM 55 Showcase Handicap over 1500 m with Jackson Murphy aboard jumping from barrier 1 in a field of 11.

Bench Star is an eight-year-old Brown gelding, having raced on 67 occasions for seven wins and 13 placings earning prize money exceeding $128,000.

Last time out the ran at Taree on January 17 finishing 11 of 11 over 1257 m with Serg Lisnyy aboard arriving 10.90 lengths behind the winner, Epic Dan on the occasion.
