Young Wyong trainer Damien Lane will supply two runners at this stage to the Newcastle Jockey club meeting on Thursday, February 19 with the rail in the true position racing on a good three with fine weather predicted for the eight card program.
The first of the stable runners Lucky Cash will come out in race three first up from a spell with Serg Lisnyy aboard jumping from barrier seven in a field of 10 in a maiden handicap over 900m.
Lucky Cash is a four-year-old gelding having start number 15 with three placings earning prize-money in excess of $9000 with his last outing being at Scone on May 16, 2014 finishing 11 of 12 over 1300m with Greg Ryan in charge finishing 8 1/2 lengths off the winner in a race time of 1:17.83.
The second stable runner will come out in race eight in a class 2 handicap over 1500 m with Spinning Gold jumping from barrier 12 with Chris O'Brien the pilot in a field of 14.
Spinning Gold is a four-year-old gelding having start number 13 with two wins and five placings earning prize-money in excess of $36,000, recent efforts have been at Gosford on December 31 finishing first of 9 over 1200 m with Chris O'Brien in charge landing the prize by half a length and was last seen at Wyong on January 22 finishing second of nine when ridden by Chris O'Brien aboard arriving 2.3 lengths behind the winner in a race time of 1:19.52 with the last 600m in 34.51.
