Damien Lane will supply two thoroughbreds to the Cessnock race club meeting on July 21 with a track rating of a Good three applicable with fine conditions forecast.

The first of those runners will go out in race six in the Lindeman's class two handicap over 1570 m with Barstow jumping from barrier four with Grant Buckley aboard.

Barstow is a four-year-old Brown mare having start number 11 with one win and two placings with prize-money of just over $12,000.

Recent runs were at Cessnock finishing seventh of ten over 1350m on July 1, and was most recently seen racing at Taree finishing sixth of 12, 3.3 lengths off the winner on that occasion over 1257m.

Barstow has raced at the track on four previous occasions with one x win and one x placing setting up her resume.

The second of the Lane runners will come out in the final event on the card in the Cessnock vintage motors benchmark 55 handicap over 1150 m with Attitude Pay's returning from a spell weighted at 62 kg with Chelsea Ings taking 4 kg off the allotted weight jumping from barrier one.

Attitude Pays is a seven-year-old Bay gelding having start number 20 with three x wins and four x placings adding up to just over $41,500, with recent trips to Muswellbrook finishing third of six on 30th of March over 1450m on a heavy eight, then ventured to Gosford finishing at the tail of the field on a heavy 10, 7.1lengths off the winner.

His most recent was a trial at Wyong on July 8 over a thousand metres, winning that event by 1.8 lengths in a time of 1:00.33 with the last 600m in 34.79.
