Damien Lane has accepted with one runner Spinning Gold to the Port Macquarie race club meeting on Friday November 14 with fine conditions forecast racing on a good three.
Spinning Gold will contest in race seven at 4:40 PM in the Mitre 10 benchmark 55 handicap over a 1006m, first up from spell with Ben Looker aboard jumping from barrier 4 in a field of 11.
Spinning Gold is a four-year-old gelding having start number nine with one win and three placings earning prize-money in excess of $18,000, with recent trips to the races being at Muswellbrook on May 2 when finishing second of 6 over 1450m when ridden by Chris O'Brien finished a half a length from the winner in a race time of 1:30.26 and was last seen racing at Scone on May 16 finishing near the tail of the field over a mile with Serg Lisnyy aboard landing 12 1/2 lengths behind the winner in a race time of 1:36.67 after travelling in a forward position in the early stages of the race.
