Damien Lane travelled to Kembla Grange with Spinning Gold on Tuesday, September 6 in search for a BM 60 handicap over a mile with rain affected going being a more positive sign for the last start winner.

They entered the arena with Andrew Adkins the pilot jumping from barrier (4) in a field of 10 and on leaving the stalls sat in a forward position in the early stages of the Warilla Bowls And Recreation Club event. Love’s Takes Over led early in the peace with Jayco in second, Spinning Gold was forward as was Tramp running fourth, as the field past the 1200m, 400m behind them.

Coming into the straight Jayko led but was claimed by Live Takes Over, Laugharne come down the outside quite strongly to run into second with Spinning Gold also prominent, but drawing to the line it was all Love Takes Over by 2 1/2 to the good of Laugharne with Spinning Gold finishing in third position.
