Damien Lane had his 2YO filly Snowdrop ready to fire on debut in the Max Lees Classic. The daughter of Capitalist headed into the first race at Newcastle off a great trial win and showed plenty of ability jumping well to find the lead before fighting along the straight to hold onto second only going down half a length.
