Sharp Speedo got back to some form after a first up sixth when joining the stable saw the former Queenslander compete in the cottage class 2 handicap over a mile, finishing third on this occasion when beaten home by the well supported Moobi & Power Of Wexford for the mile prize.
Sharp Speedo is a five-year-old Bay mare by Captain Sonador out of Lady Of Jewels and was last seen competing at Hawkesbury over 1300m under Grant Buckley when finishing 3.18 lengths mid field of 12 on that occasion, she put in a solid effort this time out and should gain some momentum when getting out to a longer trip.
