It’s never easy to bring up a double on the provincial circuit but today was the day. PRINCESS AMIRA deserved this win and the patience of her owners is rewarded.
PRINCESS AMIRA had returned from the long spell in fine order, and it showed in her trials placing in both, but come race day the daughter of Written Tycoon needed those fresh legs to chase down the tearaway leader for a good tough win.
An excellent ride from Jenny Duggan throughout, taking up the rail run and it proved the difference in a tight margin.
