It was great to see the Taree Cup winner PIRATE BEN return to Taree and salute again with a tenacious win. The 9YO continues to prove his class over the mile displaying a strong finish on the heavy track to score by 0.3L. Aaron Bullock preserved plenty of energy sitting on the fence behind the leader before the explosive burst late.
