Pirate Ben has won 8 times from 33 career starts and has held together well this preparation with two wins coming via eight outings.
His last run was strong when taking out the Taree Cup by just over 2.0 lengths with Travis Wolfgram aboard, when landing fourth early, loomed up well in a forward position hitting the front at the top of the straight and kicked well clear arriving in a time of 2:04.23.
