After dispatching the gates in the Upper Hunter Turf Supplies the first to leave was Zippy Hippy, Shamagra followed with Intrepido next, Contralto was back towards the fence as Patinage began sneaking up to join the race leader via the 600m.
Into the straight Patinage was in the centre of the field racing to the lead with the inform stable chalking up another winner with Greg Ryan aboard on this occasion, driving the horse to the line to defeat Contralto in second with Ready Set Sing in third.
