First race of the day and OAKFIELD REDGUM spaced them at Port Macquarie, breaking her maiden in style, winning by just over 8 lengths.

The promising Dundeel mare hasn’t been far away in four starts so it was a well deserved win, and very good ride from Aaron Bullock.

In race 6, it was OAKFIELD WARPAINT that made it a winning double and a great start to the season for the stable at Port Macquarie.

Aided by a brilliant Aaron Bullock ride, the Exceed And Excel gelding saved plenty of energy in the run to produce an electric turn of foot in the straight to salute by a length and a half.
