Oakfield Captain runs third in the opener at Gosford over a mile with the last start place getter rounding off the trifecta that included Judge Judi & Zavance.
After challenging Judge Judi throughout the mile, the runner formally trained by Bjorn Baker skipped to the lead and went to the line well under Jason Collett, Zavance steered by Kerrin McEvoy got between runners to deny Oakfield Captain on this occasion with the gelding beating home Just Two Vees at odds in fourth.
