The Damien Lane stable will supply Nissile to the Newcastle Jockey club race meeting on Sunday, November 16 with a fun filled day expected with the highlights being the Robert Thompson Cup and a visit of Melbourne Cup winner Protectionist highlighting the day with the weather predicted to be fine racing on a good three.

Nissile will compete in race five at 3:38 PM in the quarry mining BM 65 handicap over 1850 m with Matthew Bennett to ride jumping from barrier eight in a field of 12.

Nissile has competed on 28 occasions for four wins & six placings earning prize-money in excess of $75,000 with recent outings being at Canterbury on October 24 over 1550m, finishing at the rear of the field when ridden by Serg Lisnyy, landing 4.4 lengths behind the winner in a race time of 1:33.47 and was last seen improving at Kempsey over 1900 m in a BM 65 handicap on November 7 finishing second of 10 with a nose margin separating the pair in a race time of 1:59.20 with the last 600m in 37.82 when ridden by Matthew Bennett.
