Neon Jungle competed in a maiden plate over 1600 m when racing on a good four with Matthew McGuren aboard jumping from barrier five wit a field of 13 to run.
Ridden out the stalls in a positive fashion, Neon Jungle led the Carlton Mid maiden plate over 1600 m in advance of Our Gracious Betty with Zafur next followed by Observed.
Heading for home Neon Jungle straightened in front with McGuren sitting down to ride hard, as the runner responded to the urging’s to score the mile in advance of Sand Wedge with Bridie’s Brook in third.
