The Damien Lane Yard saddled up one runner to Gosford in race (4) on the program to a class 2 handicap over 1200 m with showery conditions seeing Mr Mcbat to be partnered by Josh Parr jumping from barrier one with a small field of 5 to compete.
As they jumped in the class 2 handicap the first runner into stride was Ozark was quickly joined by keep The Dane, Ravenwitch was the next runner with Clavedon Bay fourth Mr Mcbat was at the tail.
Coming to the turn Ozark led Keep The Dane was next Mr Mcbat was putting in good strides down the outside, however Ozark controlled the race throughout to land the prize by 2 1/2 lengths, to a spirited Mr Mcbat whom showed a win is near, Clevedon Bay finished third in advance of Keep The Dane with Ravenwitch at the tail.
