The Damien Lane prepared Mosaytion competed in race one on the Taree card in a combined maiden class one plate over 1600 m with the recent form of the runner showing two starts for a first and second.

Coming into this event jockey Matthew McGuren jumped from barrier (8), and on landing in the functions @ winning post plate landed quietly to settle in between the leading batch with three runners behind its hip passing the 1250 chute, Sunday Swindler led Birkdale was next, Gud Onya followed in advance of Glitterama, with Ciqala also joining the leading trio.

Coming to the turn Aarhus swept to the lead Sunday Swindler’s, with Aarhus was prominent, Mosaytion was coming to the most station by this stage and under the urgings of McGuren was scooting home to grab the lead with Glitterama on its inside, also hitting the line, with the talented Mosaytion claiming the first on the card in advance of Glitterama with Aarhus running in third.

A great training effort by Damien Lane to bring up win number two and a second in the horses last three outings, for connections Grant Thoroughbred Holdings, Mrs G P Kelly-Grant, Mr D F Lane.
