The Damien Lane stable supplied Lucky Cash from an awkward barrier 16 over 1200 meter maiden handicap with Greg Ryan aboard the odds on favourite racing on a heavy nine.
As the starter released Lucky Cash whom is a maiden after some 20 odd starts flew the gates and led momentarily before Pencita come up on the inside to take the lead, Lucky Cash settled on its outside with Last Light Horse third covering up Magic Zariz.
Coming to the turn Pencita led, but was under the persuader via the 200m Lucky Cash, loomed momentarily as Magic Zariz wound up down the outside in a well timed run to beat beat Pencita in second with Lucky Cash in third.
