The field left the barriers to compete in the XXXX Gold Maiden Hcp, and the Lane prepared Lucky Cash led the field in the early stages Menneke Belle was in second, Miss Tickles was in third and Montana Mystery was fourth.
Coming to the turn Lucky Cash was rolling along nicely to control the event, with the order relatively unchanged as the field spread out 6 lengths with a further 4 lengths back to Flitero whom was rear-ward from the out set and played not competitive role throughout.
Into the straight Lucky Cash was still the leader Menneke Belle was still challenging as Beau Bella and the fast finishing Adriatic Jewel, seemed the only competitors worth focusing on, and as the leadership group, made their way to the line it would be Beau Bella just getting the stride in before the virtual all the way leader lucky Cash in second with Menneke Belle landing in third before Adriatic Jewel.
