Leogang is a five-year-old bay gelding having raced on 18 occasions for three wins and two placings earning prize money of just under $95,000, the Lonhro gelding resumes from a last start seven of seven at Kembla Grange and resumed through the Barrier trial process.

The first trial was at Cessnock finishing third of 6/900 m on September 30, followed up by a Gosford trial on October 8 finishing midfield fourth of 8 under Serg in a 1000m heat arriving 2.07 lengths behind McLaren in a time of 59.71.
