An outstanding effort was put in by six-year-old Mare, Kate’s Pearl under Digger McClellan on taking out race five at Taree in the Iron Jack Mid Class 3 handicap over the thousand metre dash to bounce back to form in fine style.

It was an outstanding training effort after two disappointing runs this prep though she was fitter for those to runs and was deserving of her win today.
