A fantastic effort at odds was witnessed by Kate’s Pearl in race five on the Newcastle card over 900 m with Serg Lisnyy lifting the runner close to home to just miss.
Giving the leader Biscuit Time plenty of lengths on entering the straight, Kates Pearl come from the rear chasing the rump of Barr Hill to the line to narrowly miss, with Sea Sharp the 3rd runner to arrive.
