Damien Lane competed with two runners in the Coopernook Hotel class three handicap over 1600 m with He’sprettycool ridden by Blaike McDougall and Orlando Jack Jackson Murphy to ride jumping from barrier 4, in a field of seven.
On settling Runaway Jet pushed on and took over to lead passing the 1000, Orlando Jack worked around to set up outside the leader, Bills A Goody took a trail in third position, the favourite, Dead Calm sat one off the inside in fourth, then came Hesprettycool from Zigamore and the Bohemian.
Nearing home Orlando Jack was under pressure, Bills A Goodie looked unresponsive, He’sprettycool moved into second position however, it was Dead Calm taking over with 50 m to go to land the prize in advance He’sprettycool, The Bohemian ran third in advance of Orlando Jack in fourth.
