Damien Lane headed to the Wyong race club today where the rain affected track was graded a heavy eight for the day, with Damian sending out the new addition Star Approach in the final event of the afternoon, in a benchmark 60 handicap over 1100 m with Chris O'Brien in charge.

On jumping Chris had his charge out in a positive position, a tad wide coming past the 600m with Clint in front with First Episode on its inner, Earstheking back in third Royal Flush tucking in behind that with Star Approach off it's girth.

Coming to the 150m there were many chances as three to four horses battled for a cheque, and as they came to the wire it would be Earstheking (1st) from the fast finishing Crown Of Dreams (0.5lengths) and Star Approach (1.0length) away in third in what was a pleasing run for the new bloke, having never run on rain effected going in his career.
