Damien Lane will supply four runners to the Newcastle Jockey club on Saturday with overcast conditions racing on a good three.

Star Approach is a four-year-old chestnut gelding having start number 18 with two wins and six placings earning prize-money in excess of $43,000, last time out he competed at Port finishing second 11 over 1200 m with Roy McCabe in charge landing three quarters of a length behind the winner.
The second stable runner Lucky Cash will come out in race 2 over 1200 m with Paul King aboard jumping from barrier four in a field of seven.
Star Approach is 4-year-old gelding having start number 17 with no wins and four placings earning prize-money in excess of $14,000, last timeout he finished fourth of 14 at Muswellbrook with Roy McCabe aboard landing two lengths behind the winner.
The next stable runner Pirate Ben will come out in a maiden plate over 1400 m jumping from barrier seven in a field of 11.
Pirate Ben is a three-year-old gelding having start number three with a recent effort being at Muswellbrook on March 3 finishing seven of 13 over 1450m with Roy McCabe landing 5.6 lengths behind the winner.
The final runner Bench Star will come out in race eight in a BM 60 Hcp over 1400 m with Roy McCabe jumping from barrier three in a field of 11.
Bench Star is a six-year-old Brown gelding having start number 47 with five wins and 11 placings earning prize-money of over $104,000, last time out he competed at Muswellbrook on March 3 finishing fourth of 13 over 1280 m with Roy McCabe in charge landing 3.4 lengths behind the winner.
