Race 8 an open handicap will see Mr McBat drawn awkwardly when competing over 1614 m with Aaron Bullock aboard the five-year-old gelding.

When last in competition he finished fifth of 9/1700 m at Wellington, his un-placed in all six runs this prep, he did however finish strong at his last start after travelling 9th to finish fifth, the concern is on the barrier though he has won at the track & trip.
