Race 4 on the card will see two Damien Lane runners eye the prize in Bend It Like Benny to be ridden by Jean Van Overmeire jumping from barrier eight and Eyota, a last start winner to be ridden by Serg Lisnyy jumping from barrier 1.

Bend It Like Benny was last seen finishing second at Taree three weeks ago over 1320 m finishing second of six on that occasion, he is currently at odds of $5.50 and has genuine early speed and must be included as one of the main chances.

Eyota is a last start winner at Port Macquarie a fortnight ago in a maiden over 1500 m finishing first of 10 on that occasion, he is currently at odds of eight dollars after finishing well on a soft track. He is carrying a lot more weight than the last start win but has drawn to do no work.

The final stable runner will see Hesprettycool compete in a heat of the rising star handicap over a mile of benchmark 65 ranking to be joined by Jean Van Overmeire jumping from barrier one.

Last time out the six-year-old gelding finished fifth of seven over a mile a fortnight ago at Gosford in a BM 62 handicap, he is currently at at odds of eight dollars and has placed two of three at Scone previously.

He will, however, need to improve off the last start fifth if he is to figure here.
