Damien Lane Racing will supply runners on the first day of the Scone Racing Club Carnival on Friday, 16th of May, where the weather is fine track rating of a Dead 4 is current.

Race two will see Damien's first runner in Lucky Cash, wearing saddle cloth 7 jumping from an awkward barrier 13 with Greg Ryan aboard.

Lucky Cash has raced consistently this time in without a major cheque and comes into this event having placed at Scone previously, he is prepared for this maiden coming off the back of a third at Taree where the three-year-old Bay gelding travelled worse than midfield for most of the trip before going down by 2.8 lengths to the eventual winner Tempo Man, on a Slow 6.

The second runner for the stable will be seen in race 4 with Spinning Gold taking part in a class one handicap over a mile, jumping from barrier 19 with Serg Lisnyy aboard at 54kg.

Spinning Gold has been a model of consistency this preparation having had five starts so far for one x win, and three seconds and a fourth, and is prepared for this off the back of a second at Muswellbrook early May over 1450m on a Dead 5 and although the barrier is not ideal the three-year-old gelding comes into this event having a 100% win / place record at the track, together with significant weight relief from his last venture out.

Miello is Damien's last runner in the Country Cup Benchmark 70 handicap over 1400 m with connections hoping to gain a start through scratchings, and at this stage will she need 2 for the four-year-old mare to make her presence felt.

Bearing in mind though the barrier draw(19)  would make the win undeniably difficult, though she has hit form after winning at Taree last time out on a slow six winning on that occasion by 0.5 lengths.

The stable would  like to wish all runners the best of luck with their visit to the Scone carnival on Friday.
