A great result for connections of Choice Larga with the Damien Lane stable preparing the new stable arrival to a race win at Kembla Grange in a BM 70 handicap over 1400 m with Kobe Jennings aboard jumping from barrier eight in a field of 11.
After jumping in a forward fashion Jennings allowed the horse some reign and on straightening kicked well clear, the challenges came from Dr Sykes ridden by Deanne Panya and Chavish ridden by Brenton Avdulla, with that horse being a last start winner.
Coming to the business end of proceedings it was Choice Larga landing the prize by a narrow margin in advance of Dr Sykes at odds with Chavish in third & Hypernicus finishing in fourth.
