A small field of runners competed over the distance of 1000m on Sunday September 24 at Wyong with the stable runner Bend It Like Benny arriving 3rd under the urgings of Jean Van Overmeire.
On landing, Bend It Like Benny sat third though drove through before settling with the race leader being Right As Rain with Thisildo.
On straightening, Right As Rain cleared out to run home scoring easily, Netetva was second with Bend It Like Benny pushed along to arrive in third with a time of 57.10 recorded.
