Ridden positively by Jean Van Overmeire, Bend It Like Benny shook off many of the challenges, only to be denied for the larger end of the cheque by Oakfield Monarch, who loomed up late to score the prize by three-quarters of a length to Bend It Like Benny with Hunter Caulfield running into third with Chicago Stop arriving in the first four.
