Damien Lane has prepared one runner for the Muswellbrook race club meeting on Tuesday, October 21 with fine weather conditions expected racing on a good three.

The first of the stable runners will come out in race one at 1:18 PM in the Phil Pottinger Memorial class 3 handicap over 1750 m with Barstow jumping from barrier 2 in a small field of five with Serg Lisnyy aboard.

Barstow is prepared for this event after two recent runs at Port Macqaurie  finishing second of 12 on September 28 over 1506 m when racing in a BM 50, going down by a neck on the line with Samantha Clenton aboard.

The most recent runs for the 5-year-old Mare have been at the Port race club on October 11 finishing seventh of 8 over 1500m with Matthew Bennett aboard finishing 7.3 lengths behind the winner on that occasion in a time of 1:31.81 with the last 600 m clocked at 35.53.

The stable would like to wish connections of Barstow the best of luck at Muswellbrook on Tuesday.
