The Damien Lane Yard will supply two runners to the Wyong race club meeting on Thursday, 12th of June with the weather overcast and the track currently rated at an Heavy eight.

Barstow is a four-year-old Brown mare having raced four times this preparation with the best being at Cessnock late May when the mare finished third of 12 over 1350n and was last seen running at Taree finishing near the tail of the field over a mile on a Dead four.

Barstow has accepted in a class two handicap over 1600m with Serg Lisnyy  aboard, and it is hoped the heavy track may put Barstow into contention after running twice on rain affected ground for a win and a placing.

The final runner on the Wyong card for the Lane stable will come out in race eight in a benchmark 60 handicap over 1100 m with new recruit Star Approach racing for the stable for the first time with Chris O'Brien aboard jumping from barrier nine.

Star Approach is a three-year-old chestnut gelding formally raced in Victoria and was recently seen running third at Kilmore over 1212m on a Good three in a benchmark 64 finishing third of 11, 2.25 lengths off the winner Damien has altered the gear for this outing taking off-the-Hoof  Pads for the first time and adding a Lugging Bit.

Good luck to connections with all runners at Wyong on Thursday.
