Another Larga continued his preparation with another sound gallop backing up a last start second at Wyong with the four-year-old Brown gelding putting in a super run at odds at Randwick on Cup day.
On leaving the stalls in the Pricise Air Hcp in form hoop Josh Parr had Another Larga in a forward position, travelling beautifully until hitting the straight, where the finish of the day was about to be played out.
Another Larga got the neck in front of Jemadar until late on the line when attacked by a group of runners before Skillful stuck the nose out under the big weight of 61.5 kg with Mitchell Bell aboard, landing the prize in advance of Jemadar with Another Larga putting in a game 2nd up finish to arrive in third at starting odds of around 50-1.
