An extremely impressive run late to the line was witnessed by All But Gone, when flying home to finish third in the handicap over 1300 m with Paul King aboard.

Ridden out the back in the early stages of the event, trailing the race leader in Brigadoon Rise by many lengths, jockey Paul King composed his runner to be tight up against the fence on turning for home.

Brigadoon Rise kicked for home late in the event and although challenged in its concluding stages by Magic Dallas it was the Keiren McEvoy ridden, Brigadoon Rise scoring the 8th, in advance of saddle cloth 18 with a great last sectional thrown in by All But Gone to finish third in a pretty impressive display to the last.
