Damien Lane prepared All But Gone for its second career start at the Scone race meeting on Tuesday, October 27 over 1300 m in a maiden handicap with Kody Nestor  aboard jumping from barrier seven with 13 to compete.

After a tardy dispatch in the trusting @ Turrunga Farm maiden, and first into stride was Xureb, second was Our Compass Rose with Shovano next in line, with the Damien Lane prepared runner All But Gone, worse than midfield and being urged along by Nestor on settling.

To the turn it was still Xureb leading the field via the 400 Shovano had come off the leader in second to issue a challenge with All But Gone starting to put in the big strides down the outside laying in fractionally on Ciqala, with Kody taking charge of his runner, to finish far too strongly, to score the prize by three quarters of a length on the line to Shovano in sevond and Captain Kirk in third.
