The Damien Lane team will supply two runners at this stage to the Taree-Wingham race club meeting to be held on Friday, August 22 with overcast conditions expected for the meeting with a track rating currently of a slow six.
The first of the lane runners will come out in race six in a benchmark 65 handicap over 1300 m with Attitude Pays third up from a spell with Matthew Bennett aboard jumping from barrier five in a field of 12.
Attitude Pays is an eight-year-old Bay gelding having raced on 21 occasions for three x wins and five x placings, earning prize-money of just over $43,000.
He returned for this preparation after winning a trial at Wyong on July 8 over a thousand metres, then travelled to Cessnock competing over 1150 m in a benchmark 55 Hcp finishing third of 14 four lengths from the winner on that occasion and was last seen at Wyong on August 8 over 1350m in a benchmark 60, finishing fifth of 12 2.7 lengths from the winner on that occasion.
The second stable runner will come out in race eight in a benchmark 55 handicap over 1250 m with Barstow jumping from barrier one with Andrew Adkins aboard in a field of 14.
Barstow is a five-year-old Brown Mare competing for her 12th career start with one x win and two x placings bringing prize-money in excess of $12,000.
This preparation has not bought about a win however his best result come at Cessnock finishing third of 12 over 1350 m and was last seen running eighth of 11 at Cessnock on July 21 over 1570 m finishing 3.6 lengths off the winner when ridden by Grant Buckley.
