The Damien Lane team supported the Coonamble race club meeting on Sunday, October 12 with Attitude Pays coming out in the first race with Matthew Cahill aboard jumping from barrier three in a field of eight.
As the gates flew back Cahill had his runner out on the PVC Speedreader was sitting second Southern Road was is third place as Space Invader was on the rail in fourth.
Around 600m to go Attitude Pays gave a kick as they straightened for home with Speedreader doing the chasing with Space Invader and Brookvale making a race of it behind the leading duo.
Two hundred from home the pressure was applied to Attitude Pays, however the 8-year-old responded to the urgings of Cahill to land the prize by a neck on the line to Space Invader and Brookvale with Exciting Lad 4.4 lengths away.
It was a great result for Damien Lane winning, as he is a former Coonamble Product, with Attitude Pays taking out the event by 1:37.35.
