The Damien Lane racing stable will supply two runners to the Hawkesbury race club meeting on Tuesday, March 10 with fine conditions forecast racing on a good 4, the rail is out 3 m from the 1300m to the winning post, & true the remainder.

The first of stable runners will come out in race one with Kate's Pearl competing in a two-year-old maiden plate over a thousand metres with Chris O'Brien in charge jumping from barrier seven in a field of 12.

Kate's Pearl is a 2-year-old Bay Philly and is prepared for this outing via to barrier trials, at Wyong the first of which on October 7 winning the trial over 800 m with Roy McCabe in charge and most recently at the same venue on February  16 finished first of 7 over 800 m with Roy McCabe again the pilot landing the heat by 1 1/2 links in a time of 52.26 with the last 600m in 34.31.

The next stable runner Spinning Gold will come out in race 4 in a class 2 handicap over 1400 m with Chris O'Brien the pilot jumping from barrier 2 in a field of 11.

Spinning Gold is a four-year-old gelding having start number 14 with two wins and six placings earning prize-money in excess of $38,000, since resuming this preparation he has raced honestly running second at Wyong on January 22 over 1350 with Chris O'Brien in charge arriving 2.3 lengths behind the winner and was last seen at Newcastle on February 19 finishing third of 11 over 1500 m with Chris O'Brien in charge arriving 2.3 lengths behind the winner in a time of 1:30.28.
