The ever consistent Eyota, should soon be rewarded for effort after finishing third at Gosford in the Pandora committee maiden handicap over a mile with Serg Lisnyy aboard.
Taking hold of the race in the early stages Eyota traveled keenly to lead the field with six runners behind its rump upon entering the straight.
Part way down the straight, the well supported Vaucluse Bay went out after the Lane prepared runner with Jason Collet driving the three-year-old Bay to a handy victory, in advance of Just Two Vees under the urgings of Mitchell Bell to land a neck in front of the Wyong commodity, Eyota.
