The first time racing over the mile and WANMEI delivers in spades breaking his maiden status behind a brave and brazen ride from Ben Looker.
It was a tricky barrier to navigate but they eventually found themselves outside the leader before Ben caught them napping shaking the reins at the 500m with the All Too Hard colt responding kicking clear by a couple lengths.
A perfectly timed run showcasing his toughness to hold off the late challenger to give his owners the winning feeling.
