A busy finish to the Hungerford Hill 1350m event at Newcastle with Matakauri landing the prize under Andrew Gibbons with a late rush from our runner Whitsunday who dead-heated with Angiolini, as the judge found them inseparable after the camera.
Travelling off the pace it was Angiolini the race leader, Matakaui was next in advance of Take Time To Chill was situated in third with Whitsundays second last on straightening for home before Robbie Dolan unleashed his runner to hit the line with plenty of confidence going into the horses next assignment.
