THE CHOSEN ONE came to our stable at the end of last year after racing in Queensland and has showed good ability since arriving, after a couple of runs where he hasn’t been to far away.
We decided to take the Choisir gelding up to the 1,450m today and what a tough effort he put in.
Settling midfield, Digger McLellan didn’t like how the race was panning out so he pushed the button and the 5YO was brilliant sustaining a strong finish to salute by half a length.
